You might call Marvel Rivals as an imitation of Overwatch, developer NetEase earns credit for discovering creative ways to engage its unabashedly thirsty fanbase. Enter Lady Loki, a completely new outfit for the existing Strategist hero Loki, offering players a comics-accurate version of the Norse deity.
A Reskin of Loki, Not Hela
Contrary to earlier predictions and fears, the highly anticipated Lady Loki costume is not a skin for Hela. Rather, it is a full-on reskin of Loki the character, complete with fresh voiceover work. Based on the reveal trailer, Lady Loki keeps the full suite of Loki's core abilities: his projectile attack, Deception, and his clone ability. The only change is her new appearance, tailored to appeal to an audience eager to part with their Lattice.
A Look and Sound in Action
Here is a glimpse at Lady Loki on the battlefield, along with a taste of her new voiceover, performed by voice actor Abby Trott. Notably Trott is also the voice behind Magik in Marvel Rivals.
