Mohamed Salah Offers Statement to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Salah said sorry to the group of players in the wake of the fallout from his televised remarks.

He was omitted from a key Champions League match following criticising the club and suggesting his relationship with manager had broken down.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I'm sorry.’”
Arne Slot has previously declined to comment publicly on whether he got an explanation from the veteran striker.
Team Unity
He emphasized that the squad's reaction remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, his demeanour was positive and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
Jones also noted that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “I understand there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Team Form
Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the games following the interview fallout. Jones believes the outburst were never meant to cause disruption.
“If passion has boiled over, it’s always been from a place of caring,” Jones concluded. “We’re past that now and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and securing victories.”
